Ushio Germany will participate in Europe’s largest exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems, EES Europe, which takes place at the International Congress Center München (ICM), on 11–13 May 2022. At the Electrical Energy Storage Europe trade fair, Ushio will exhibit an overview of the vast application possibilities for excimer surface treatment, and introduce the latest product development: Excimer Hyper V-ST series for in-line processes, as well as Excimer SUE series for stationary treatment applications.
Unlike common alternatives, such as corona or plasma treatments, excimer irradiation is an extremely gentle surface treatment process that can be applied to all kinds of substrates. This offers great advantages, especially when treating sensitive materials, such as monofoils and wafers, heat-sensitive plastics, and even metals such as copper.

Splitting excimer applications into two blocks: surface cleaning & activation, and optical bonding, the Ushio team will deliver the facts and reveal tangible application potential.
