Heating
Ushio’s range of infrared heat lamps is used to create heat in various applications, from curing coating, plastic shrinking, and plastic welding, to catering.
Contact-free infrared heating is generated through irradiation of an object by a heat source with short or medium wavelength. This radiation is then transformed into heat within the heated object.
For the highest possible efficiency to be achieved, the material of the heated object must have an absorption coefficient that matches the spectrum of the infrared emitting lamp.
