UV Meter
Ushio has developed various UV meters, called Unimeters, based on our experience and expertise as a manufacturer of optical equipment. These compact handheld optical measuring instruments are genuinely easy-to-use. UV meters are used to manage the intensity of a range of instruments, including irradiation systems, as well as UV curing, cleansing and sterilizing systems. Currently there are four different modules available.

UIT-201 Digital UV Intensity Meter
- Photodetector replacement allows measurements in two wavelength regions (centered on 365 nm and 405 nm)
- Power is supplied by battery or external power source
- Extension cable available (main unit to detector: standard option 2m)
UIT-250 / UIT 250A Accumulated UV Meter
- Photodetector replacement allows measurements in five wavelength regions (centered on 172, 254, 313, 365 and 405 nm), as well as temperature measurement
- Power is supplied by battery or external power source (the latter is only available for the UIT-250A)
- Extension cable is available (main unit to detector: 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 m)
- Allows for measurement of irradiance, peak irradiance, accumulated light amount, irradiance distribution, spot-light irradiance, and temperature distribution
- Built-in memory allows measurement of irradiance distribution for up to 4 minutes
- Enabling and disabling the auto power-off function
- PC serial communication function
UIT-700 Accumulated UV Meter
- Photodetector replacement allows measurements in six wavelength regions (centered on 222, 254, 131, 365 and 405 nm, and LED on 385 - 450 nm)
- Power is supplied by battery (charging battery / USB bus power)
- Incorporated touch panel interface
- Utilizes a secondary battery
- Offers inter-instrument error correction
- Measurement data can be stored in internal memory and display on the UIT-700
- Data can be transferered to and accessed from a PC
- UVDD-SLED facilitates measurements across multiple LED wavelength ranges
UIT-2400 Far UV-C Meter
Created as an analytical tool to monitor exposure from Ushio’s Care222® filtered far UV-C disinfection module. It’s smart software automatically sets the averaging, while rapidly measuring over 8 decades of light intensities. This allows customers to capture a peak as brief as 100 microseconds (µs) and to store up to 16 readings per second. The brilliant colour display functions in both landscape and portrait mode for ease-of-use in any situation.
