Mercury Lamps

Ushio’s mercury lamps are designed for the use in the ultraviolet or blue part of the spectrum. The advantage of these radiation sources is that their beam can easily be optically shaped because of their short arc. Mercury short arc lamps are the preferred choice for inspection tools in the semiconductor industry.
Our mercury short-arc high wattage lamps function in the same way as their low wattage counterparts. These high wattage lamps range from 1,000 W to 12,000 W. Typical application areas are the semiconductor industry as well as the PCB industry, where these lamps are used as UV radiation sources for lithography.
